Archie is a handsome Collie with plenty of love to give! While he has lived with other dogs in the past, we have found that he can be reactive, so he may be best suited as the only dog in the home. His reaction to cats is unknown.

Archie is both housetrained and crate trained. He enjoys his walks, though he can pull on the lead and may feel uneasy when approached by strangers. He knows several basic commands and is eager to learn, but he isn’t a fan of car travel.

Archie is looking for a patient and understanding owner who can continue his training and help him build confidence.

Re-homing Criteria

Archie is looking for an active and experienced collie home that can provide him with plenty of mental and physical stimulation. He thrives on attention and would love a family that can keep him engaged with training, playtime, and exercise. As Archie has been around children before, we can consider homes with older children who understand how to interact respectfully with dogs. However, he would likely be happiest as the only dog in the home. A home with Collie or herding breed experience would be beneficial, as Archie will do best with someone who understands his needs. Archie is a dog who just loves to be out and about , loves his walks , he is not a once around the block sorta guy ! A full toy box and plenty of enrichment activities will keep him happy!
